Drastic temperature change causes a constant expansion and contraction of of these oil based coatings and speeds the evaporation of the petroleum distilates.  It also causes expansion and contraction of the building and roof structure itself.

Our product falls into a classification called Cool Roof Technology.  Surface Temeratures remain lower than ambient air temerature through the use of titanium and macro science.  Oil solvents in existing petroleum based roofs are sealed and expansion/contraction issues are minimized resulting in less stress to the roof and structure
